A short resting period after a long development period
During the resting period, the hair is tied to the follicle
but it does not grow.
At the end of the resting period, the hair falls and from the
same follicle the new hair starts to grow.
The length of the Growth-Resting Cycle depends on the genetic
code of the individual.
Hair production is reduced by aging, the resting period starts
to be longer.
The life cycle of the hair contains three phases:
Anagene (growth), Catagen (interlude) ve Telogene (falling,
resting)
